| 7: 20 | At this time Moses was born, and he was beautiful before God. For three months he was brought up (anatrephō) in his father's house; |
| 7: 21 | and when he was abandoned, Pharaoh's daughter adopted him and brought him up (anatrephō) as her own son. |
| 22: 3 | "I am a Jew, born in Tarsus in Cilicia, but brought up (anatrephō) in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, educated strictly according to our ancestral law, being zealous for God, just as all of you are today.
