Verb eispherō (to bring in) in the Gospels-Acts
(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)
Matthew
| 6: 13 | And do not bring us in (eispherō) trial, but rescue us from the evil one. |
Luke
| 5: 18 | Just then some men came, carrying a paralyzed man on a bed. They were trying to bring him in (eispherō) and lay him before Jesus; |
| 5: 19 | but finding no way to bring him in (eispherō) because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles into the middle of the crowd in front of Jesus. |
| 11: 4 | And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us. And do not bring us in (eispherō) trial." |
