Verb ephistēmi (to stand over / beside, to come up) in the Gospels-Acts

Luke

2: 9Then an angel of the Lord stood over (ephistēmi) them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
2: 38At that moment she came up (ephistēmi), and began to praise God and to speak about the child to all who were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.
4: 39Then he stood over (ephistēmi) her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. Immediately she got up and began to serve them.
10: 40But Martha was distracted by her many tasks; so she came up (ephistēmi) to him and asked, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to do all the work by myself? Tell her then to help me."
20: 1One day, as he was teaching the people in the temple and telling the good news, the chief priests and the scribes came up (ephistēmi) with the elders

Acts

10: 17Now while Peter was greatly puzzled about what to make of the vision that he had seen, suddenly the men sent by Cornelius appeared. They were asking for Simon's house and were standing beside (ephistēmi) the gate.
11: 11At that very moment three men, sent to me from Caesarea, came up (ephistēmi) at the house where we were.
