Verb epididōmi (to give) in the Gospels-Acts
(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)
Matthew
| 7: 9 | Is there anyone among you who, if your child asks for bread, will give (epididōmi) a stone? |
| 7: 10 | Or if the child asks for a fish, will give (epididōmi) a snake? |
Luke
| 4: 17 | and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given (epididōmi) to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written: |
