Verb hamartanō (to sin) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

18: 15"If another member of the church sins (hamartanō) against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If the member listens to you, you have regained that one.
18: 21Then Peter came and said to him, "Lord, if another member of the church sins (hamartanō) against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?"
27: 4He said, "I have sinned (hamartanō) by betraying innocent blood." But they said, "What is that to us? See to it yourself."

Luke

15: 18I will get up and go to my father, and I will say to him, "Father, I have sinned (hamartanō) against heaven and before you;
15: 21Then the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned (hamartanō) against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'
17: 3Be on your guard! If another disciple sins (hamartanō), you must rebuke the offender, and if there is repentance, you must forgive.

John

1 John

1: 10If we say that we have not sinned (hamartanō), we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
2: 1My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin (hamartanō). But if anyone does sin (hamartanō), we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;
