| 1: 42 | He brought Simon to Jesus, who looked at him and said, "You are Simon son of John. You are to be called Cephas" (which is translated (hermēneuō): Peter). |
| 9: 7 | saying to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which is translated (hermēneuō): Sent). Then he went and washed and came back able to see.
