Matthew
| 5: 8 | "Blessed are the pure (katharos) in heart, for they will see God. |
| 23: 26 | You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup, so that the outside also may become clean (katharos). |

Luke
| 11: 41 | So give for alms those things that are within; and see, everything will be clean (katharos) for you. |
