Matthew
| 26: 55 | At that hour Jesus said to the crowds, "Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest me as though I were a bandit? Day after day I sat (kathezomai) in the temple teaching, and you did not arrest me. |
Luke
| 2: 46 | After three days they found him in the temple, sitting (kathezomai) among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. |
John
| 4: 6 | Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired out by his journey, was sitting (kathezomai) by the well. It was about noon. |
| 11: 20 | When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went and met him, while Mary was sitting (kathezomai) at home. |
