Verb kathizō (to sit down) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

5: 1When Jesus saw the crowds, he went up the mountain; and after he sat down (kathizō), his disciples came to him.
13: 48when it was full, they drew it ashore, sat down (kathizō), and put the good into baskets but threw out the bad.
19: 28Jesus said to them, "Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man is sitting down (kathizō) on the throne of his glory, you who have followed me will also sit (kathizō) on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
20: 21And he said to her, "What do you want?" She said to him, "Declare that these two sons of mine will sit down (kathizō), one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom."
20: 23He said to them, "You will indeed drink my cup, but to sit down (kathizō) at my right hand and at my left, this is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father."
23: 2"The scribes and the Pharisees sit down (kathizō) on Moses' seat;

Mark

Luke

4: 20And he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down (kathizō). The eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.
5: 3He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little way from the shore. Then he sat down (kathizō) and taught the crowds from the boat.
14: 28For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down (kathizō) and estimate the cost, to see whether he has enough to complete it?
14: 31Or what king, going out to wage war against another king, will not sit down (kathizō) first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to oppose the one who comes against him with twenty thousand?
16: 6He answered, 'A hundred jugs of olive oil.' He said to him, 'Take your bill, sit down (kathizō) quickly, and make it fifty.'

John

8: 2Early in the morning he came again to the temple. All the people came to him and he sat down (kathizō) and began to teach them.
12: 14Jesus found a young donkey and sat (kathizō) on it; as it is written:
19: 13When Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus outside and sat (kathizō) on the judge's bench at a place called The Stone Pavement, or in Hebrew Gabbatha.

Acts

2: 3Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue sat (kathizō) on each of them.
