Verb keirō (to shear) in the Gospels-Acts

Acts

8: 32Now the passage of the scripture that he was reading was this: "Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter, and like a lamb silent before the one shearing (keirō) it, so he does not open his mouth.
18: 18After staying there for a considerable time, Paul said farewell to the believers and sailed for Syria, accompanied by Priscilla and Aquila, having shorn (keirō) his head in Cenchrea: for he had a vow.
