Verb lambanō (to take, to receive) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

5: 40and if anyone wants to sue you and take (lambanō) your coat, give your cloak as well;
7: 8For everyone who asks receives (lambanō), and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
8: 17This was to fulfill what had been spoken through the prophet Isaiah, "He took (lambanō) our infirmities and bore our diseases."
10: 8Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. You received (lambanō) without payment; give without payment.
10: 38and whoever does not take (lambanō) up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

17: 27However, so that we do not give offense to them, go to the sea and cast a hook; seize the first fish that comes up; and when you open its mouth, you will find a coin; take (lambanō) that and give it to them for you and me."
19: 29And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields, for my name's sake, will receive (lambanō) a hundredfold, and will inherit eternal life.
20: 9When those hired about five o'clock came, each of them received (lambanō) the usual daily wage.

Luke

5: 5Simon answered, "Master, we have worked all night long but have taken (lambanō) nothing. Yet if you say so, I will let down the nets."

6: 4He entered the house of God and took (lambanō) and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and gave some to his companions?"

John

1 John

2: 27As for you, the anointing that you received (lambanō) from him abides in you, and so you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, abide in him.
3: 22and we receive (lambanō) from him whatever we ask, because we obey his commandments and do what pleases him.
5: 9If we receive (lambanō) human testimony, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony of God that he has testified to his Son.

2 John

1: 4I was overjoyed to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as commandment we received (lambanō) from the Father.
1: 10Do not receive (lambanō) into the house or welcome anyone who comes to you and does not bring this teaching;

1: 7for they began their journey for the sake of Christ, receiving (lambanō) no support from non-believers.
