(Translation from NRSV for the New Testament with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

2: 10When they saw that the star had stopped, they were overwhelmed with great (megas) joy.
4: 16the people who sat in darkness have seen a great (megas) light, and for those who sat in the region and shadow of death light has dawned."
5: 19Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great (megas) in the kingdom of heaven.
5: 35or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great (megas) King.
7: 27The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell - and great (megas) was its fall!"

Luke
