Comparative adjective meizōn (greater, greatest) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

11: 11Truly I tell you, among those born of women no one has arisen greater than (meizōn) John the Baptist; yet the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than (meizōn) he.
12: 6I tell you, something greater than (meizōn) the temple is here.
13: 32it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest (meizōn) of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches."
18: 1At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest (meizōn) in the kingdom of heaven?"
