Adjective palaios (old) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

9: 16No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old (palaios) cloak, for the patch pulls away from the cloak, and a worse tear is made.
9: 17Neither is new wine put into old (palaios) wineskins; otherwise, the skins burst, and the wine is spilled, and the skins are destroyed; but new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved."
13: 52And he said to them, "Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the master of a household who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old (palaios)."

5: 39And no one after drinking old (palaios) wine desires new wine, but says, 'The old (palaios) is good.'"

2: 7Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old (palaios) commandment that you have had from the beginning; the old (palaios) commandment is the word that you have heard.
