10: 6Jesus used this figure of speech (paroimia) with them, but they did not understand what he was saying to them.
16: 25"I have said these things to you in figures of speech (paroimia). The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures of speech (paroimia), but will tell you plainly of the Father.
