Preposition peri (about, around) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

2: 8	Then he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, "Go and search diligently about (peri) the child; and when you have found him, bring me word so that I may also go and pay him homage."
3: 4	Now John wore clothing of camel's hair with a leather belt around (peri) his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey.
4: 6	saying to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down; for it is written, 'He will command his angels about (peri) you,' and 'On their hands they will bear you up, so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.'"
6: 28	And why do you worry about (peri) clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin,

26: 2	"I consider myself fortunate that it is before you, King Agrippa, I am to make my defense today about (peri) all the accusations of the Jews,
26: 7	a promise that our twelve tribes hope to attain, as they earnestly worship day and night. It is about (peri) this hope, your Excellency, that I am accused by Jews!
26: 26	Indeed the king knows about (peri) these things, and to him I speak freely; for I am certain that none of these things has escaped his notice, for this was not done in a corner.
28: 7	Now around (peri) that place were lands belonging to the leading man of the island, named Publius, who received us and entertained us hospitably for three days.

1 John

5: 16	If you see your brother or sister committing what is not a mortal sin, you will ask, and God will give life to such a one - to those whose sin is not mortal. There is sin that is mortal; I do not say that you should pray about (peri) that.

1: 2	Beloved, I pray that you are well about (peri) all things and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.
