Adjective philos (friend) in the New Testament

Matthew

11: 19the Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend (philos) of tax collectors and sinners!' Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds."

Luke

7: 6And Jesus went with them, but when he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends (philos) to say to him, "Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof;
7: 34the Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, 'Look, a glutton and a drunkard, a friend (philos) of tax collectors and sinners!'
11: 5And he said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend (philos), and you go to him at midnight and say to him, 'Friend (philos), lend me three loaves of bread;
11: 6for a friend (philos) of mine has arrived, and I have nothing to set before him.'
11: 8I tell you, even though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend (philos), at least because of his persistence he will get up and give him whatever he needs.

3 John

1: 15Peace to you. The friends (philos) send you their greetings. Greet the friends (philos) there, each by name.

James

2: 23Thus the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness," and he was called the friend (philos) of God.
4: 4Adulterers! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend (philos) of the world becomes an enemy of God.
