Noun Pilatos (Pilate) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV)

Matthew

27: 2They bound him, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate (Pilatos) the governor.
27: 13Then Pilate (Pilatos) said to him, "Do you not hear how many accusations they make against you?"
27: 17So after they had gathered, Pilate (Pilatos) said to them, "Whom do you want me to release for you, Jesus Barabbas or Jesus who is called the Messiah?"
27: 22Pilate (Pilatos) said to them, "Then what should I do with Jesus who is called the Messiah?" All of them said, "Let him be crucified!"
27: 24So when Pilate (Pilatos) saw that he could do nothing, but rather that a riot was beginning, he took some water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, "I am innocent of this man's blood; see to it yourselves."
27: 58He went to Pilate (Pilatos) and asked for the body of Jesus; then Pilate (Pilatos) ordered it to be given to him.
27: 62The next day, that is, after the day of Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered before Pilate (Pilatos)
27: 65Pilate (Pilatos) said to them, "You have a guard of soldiers; go, make it as secure as you can."

Mark

15: 1As soon as it was morning, the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council. They bound Jesus, led him away, and handed him over to Pilate (Pilatos).
15: 2Pilate (Pilatos) asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?" He answered him, "You say so."
15: 4Pilate (Pilatos) asked him again, "Have you no answer? See how many charges they bring against you."
15: 5But Jesus made no further reply, so that Pilate (Pilatos) was amazed.
15: 9Then Pilate (Pilatos) answered them, "Do you want me to release for you the King of the Jews?"
15: 12Pilate (Pilatos) spoke to them again, "Then what do you wish me to do with the man you call the King of the Jews?"
15: 14Pilate (Pilatos) asked them, "Why, what evil has he done?" But they shouted all the more, "Crucify him!"
15: 15So Pilate (Pilatos), wishing to satisfy the crowd, released Barabbas for them; and after flogging Jesus, he handed him over to be crucified.
15: 43Joseph of Arimathea, a respected member of the council, who was also himself waiting expectantly for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate (Pilatos) and asked for the body of Jesus.
15: 44Then Pilate (Pilatos) wondered if he were already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him whether he had been dead for some time.

Luke

3: 1In the fifteenth year of the reign of Emperor Tiberius, when Pontius Pilate (Pilatos) was governor of Judea, and Herod was ruler of Galilee, and his brother Philip ruler of the region of Ituraea and Trachonitis, and Lysanias ruler of Abilene,
13: 1At that very time there were some present who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate (Pilatos) had mingled with their sacrifices.
23: 1Then the assembly rose as a body and brought Jesus before Pilate (Pilatos).
23: 3Then Pilate (Pilatos) asked him, "Are you the king of the Jews?" He answered, "You say so."
23: 4Then Pilate (Pilatos) said to the chief priests and the crowds, "I find no basis for an accusation against this man."
23: 6When Pilate (Pilatos) heard this, he asked whether the man was a Galilean.
23: 11Even Herod with his soldiers treated him with contempt and mocked him; then he put an elegant robe on him, and sent him back to Pilate (Pilatos).
23: 12That same day Herod and Pilate (Pilatos) became friends with each other; before this they had been enemies.
23: 13Pilate (Pilatos) then called together the chief priests, the leaders, and the people,
23: 20Pilate (Pilatos), wanting to release Jesus, addressed them again;
23: 24So Pilate (Pilatos) gave his verdict that their demand should be granted.
23: 52This man went to Pilate (Pilatos) and asked for the body of Jesus.

John

18: 29So Pilate (Pilatos) went out to them and said, "What accusation do you bring against this man?"
18: 31Pilate (Pilatos) said to them, "Take him yourselves and judge him according to your law." The Jews replied, "We are not permitted to put anyone to death."
18: 33Then Pilate (Pilatos) entered the headquarters again, summoned Jesus, and asked him, "Are you the King of the Jews?"
18: 35Pilate (Pilatos) replied, "I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests have handed you over to me. What have you done?"
18: 37Pilate (Pilatos) asked him, "So you are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice."
18: 38Pilate (Pilatos) asked him, "What is truth?" After he had said this, he went out to the Jews again and told them, "I find no case against him.
19: 1Then Pilate (Pilatos) took Jesus and had him flogged.
19: 4Pilate (Pilatos) went out again and said to them, "Look, I am bringing him out to you to let you know that I find no case against him."
19: 6When the chief priests and the police saw him, they shouted, "Crucify him! Crucify him!" Pilate (Pilatos) said to them, "Take him yourselves and crucify him; I find no case against him."
19: 8Now when Pilate (Pilatos) heard this, he was more afraid than ever.
19: 10Pilate (Pilatos) therefore said to him, "Do you refuse to speak to me? Do you not know that I have power to release you, and power to crucify you?"
19: 12From then on Pilate (Pilatos) tried to release him, but the Jews cried out, "If you release this man, you are no friend of the emperor. Everyone who claims to be a king sets himself against the emperor."
19: 13When Pilate (Pilatos) heard these words, he brought Jesus outside and sat on the judge's bench at a place called The Stone Pavement, or in Hebrew Gabbatha.
19: 15They cried out, "Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!" Pilate (Pilatos) asked them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king but the emperor."
19: 19Pilate (Pilatos) also had an inscription written and put on the cross. It read, "Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews."
19: 21Then the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate (Pilatos), "Do not write, 'The King of the Jews,' but, 'This man said, I am King of the Jews.'"
19: 22Pilate (Pilatos) answered, "What I have written I have written."
19: 31Since it was the day of Preparation, the Jews did not want the bodies left on the cross during the sabbath, especially because that sabbath was a day of great solemnity. So they asked Pilate (Pilatos) to have the legs of the crucified men broken and the bodies removed.
19: 38After these things, Joseph of Arimathea, who was a disciple of Jesus, though a secret one because of his fear of the Jews, asked Pilate (Pilatos) to let him take away the body of Jesus. Pilate (Pilatos) gave him permission; so he came and removed his body.
