Adjective prōtos (first) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV for the New Testament with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Matthew

10: 2These are the names of the twelve apostles: first (prōtos), Simon, also known as Peter, and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
12: 45Then it goes and brings along seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and live there; and the last state of that person is worse than the first (prōtos). So will it be also with this evil generation."
19: 30But many who are first (prōtos) will be last, and the last will be first (prōtos).
20: 8When evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his manager, 'Call the laborers and give them their pay, beginning with the last and then going to the first (prōtos).'
