Adjective ptōchos (poor) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

5: 3"Blessed are the poor (ptōchos) in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11: 5the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor (ptōchos) have good news brought to them.
19: 21Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor (ptōchos), and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me."
26: 9For this ointment could have been sold for a large sum, and the money given to the poor (ptōchos)."
26: 11For you always have the poor (ptōchos) with you, but you will not always have me.

Mark

10: 21Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said, "You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor (ptōchos), and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me."

John
