Noun thanatos (death) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

4: 16the people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and for those who sat in the region and shadow of death (thanatos) light has dawned."
10: 21Brother will betray brother to death (thanatos), and a father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them killed;
15: 4For God said, 'Honor your father and your mother,' and, 'Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must end in death (thanatos).'
16: 28Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death (thanatos) before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."
20: 18"See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death (thanatos);

1 John

3: 14We know that we have passed from death (thanatos) to life because we love one another. Whoever does not love abides in death (thanatos).
5: 16If you see your brother or sister committing what is not a sin unto death (thanatos), you will ask, and God will give life to such a one - to those whose sin is unto death (thanatos). There is sin that is unto death (thanatos); I do not say that you should pray about that.
5: 17All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that is not unto death (thanatos).
