Verb thaumazō (to be amazed, to be astonished) in the Gospels-Acts

(Translation from NRSV for the New Testament with a few modifications for a more literal meaning)

Legend:
Blue color: thaumazō = amazement is linked to something unheard of that arouses admiration or wonder
Green color: thaumazō = amazement is related to something unusual and incomprehensible that leaves one perplexed
Red color: thaumazō = amazement is related to an unpleasant surprise, to something unusual that shocks

Matthew

8: 10When Jesus heard him, he was amazed (thaumazō) and said to those who followed him, "Truly I tell you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.
8: 27They were amazed (thaumazō), saying, "What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?"
9: 33And when the demon had been cast out, the one who had been mute spoke; and the crowds were amazed (thaumazō) and said, "Never has anything like this been seen in Israel."
15: 31so that the crowd was amazed (thaumazō) when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.

John

3: 7Do not be astonished (thaumazō) that I said to you, 'You must be born from above.'

Acts

13: 41'Look, you scoffers! Be amazed (thaumazō) and perish, for in your days I am doing a work, a work that you will never believe, even if someone tells you.'"
