Noun thlipsis (distress) in the Gospels-Acts

Matthew

13: 21yet such a person has no root, but endures only for a while, and when distress (thlipsis) or persecution arises on account of the word, that person immediately falls away.
24: 9"Then they will hand you over to distress (thlipsis) and will put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name.
24: 21For at that time there will be great distress (thlipsis), such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.
24: 29"Immediately after the distress (thlipsis) of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken.
